The Ciaccio Family has it's roots in the town of Palermo on the island of Sicily in Italy   During the start of the 20th century, members of the Ciaccio family came to the United States looking for work.  Eventually several members of that family settled in Brooklyn, New York.

Once in New York the family found work and grew steadily.  There is a single family member that settled in New York:

• Giuseppe Ciaccio and his wife Carmela - who settled in Brooklyn, New York
